2017 STEAM Summer Camp

Join us for our 2017 STEAM summer camp at ECU's School of Art and Design, July 17th-21st, 2017!

Classes divided in to grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12. We will explore connections between the STEM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) and Art. Activities include making art projects, collaborating with STEM experts, conducting experiential learning for multiple disciplines, and participating in hands-on learning opportunities with guest artists. There will be at least 2 different groups per age category for the week. Each group’s counselors will be developing lessons independently, according to their interests and abilities. Full-day campers will switch to another one of these different “classes” after lunch. So, they’ll have the same counselors in the morning all week, then they’ll have a different group of counselors in the afternoon all week. The lessons, activities, and experiences will all be very different (we plan them that way), so that full-day campers have a nice, well-rounded, and diverse experience.
