Join us for an informal roundtable discussion; get career advice from Dr. Sarah Sipe (ECU Chemistry/German) and Mr. Anthony Razov (ECU Biochemistry/German minor).

Sarah and Anthony will share advice and answer questions about pursuing careers in the sciences and discuss how studying German and other languages has helped them advance in their careers.
 

Sarah has conducted research as part of an international team in a lab in Bremen, Germany, and completed postdoctoral research through the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education. This position allowed her to utilize her expertise in mass spectrometry and liquid chromatography while a visiting scientist in the Counterterrorism and Forensic Science Research Unit in Quantico, Virginia.
 

Anthony has studied or completed work at the Universität Heidelberg, Harvard Medical School, and the German Cancer Research Center. Having previously completed an internship with Roche, a Swiss multinational healthcare company, Anthony now works as a Senior Scientist for Roche in Pfizer Boston.
