Summer Storybook: A Summer Theatre for Young Audiences Company

Appointments available 12:00 – 3:00 pm

What to prepare, Actors: Those auditioning are asked to bring a current resume/headshot, prepare a 2-3 minute monologue from a theatre for young audiences show, and a 16-18 bars cutting of music as well. Music should be from a children’s show but does not have to be from the same show as the monologue. 

What to prepare, Design and Production: Bring a resume and portfolio of relevant work.


July 8-12 Daytime and evening rehearsals

July 15-19 – Evening rehearsals

July 22-24 Tech and dress rehearsals

July 25-28 Performances

Additional information

Performances will be held in the ECU Student Center’s black box, capacity 213. Cast and crew will be paid. The intended production is a musical. Produced by Michael Crane and Susan Phillips. Directed by Patch Clark.
