Crossing Borders film series: Initiating Intergroups

The screening of this documentary brings diversity in our world directly to student’s doorsteps. The films are designed by Crossing Borders Films to initiate intercultural dialogues, practice communication skills and to deepen intercultural understanding. A panel of ECU faculty and staff will be present to facilitate conversations after the film.

About the Film: American Textures follows six young Americans of Black, White and Latino origin on a road trip through diverse communities in the southern United States to confront race through dialogue. The journey pushes them to risk sharing their own stories, struggles and hopes.
