dataSTEAM Art Exhibition

dataSTEAM is a collaboration between professor, Daniel Kariko of East Carolina School of Art and Design and Tim Christensen, professor of the Department of Biology.  The exhibit highlights artworks created by artists who work directly with scientists to create visual images of that scientific data.

A variety of works created by ECU graduate art and science students as well as two internationally known artists, Dornith Doherty and Scott Groniger will be on view in the Janice Hardison Faulkner Gallery at Joyner Library until May 31. This exhibition's goal is to facilitate conversations amongst students, faculty, and the community about how artists and scientists can collaborate, weaving together science and art to develop new understand of our world.
