Exhibit: "The Art of Pories: Reflections on Medicine, Science and Academia"

Dr. Walter Pories, professor of surgery, biochemistry and kinesiology and director for the Metabolic Surgery Research Group at the Brody School of Medicine, presents a 2013 fall semester exhibit as part of the Art as Avocation series. Pories will showcase a multiple media collection of cartoons, sculptures, watercolor paintings and digital art as an artistic response to his views on medicine, science and academia. The opening reception for the exhibit will be held 4:30-6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1 in the 4th floor gallery of Laupus Library. The exhibit will be on display through Dec. 6.
