History Day at the GMA

Join us for a day of sharing and preserving our local stories and histories at the Greenville Museum of Art. This event is held in conjunction with the exhibition, "Greenville, Then and Now."

The staff of East Carolina University's Joyner Library will be on hand to record your family histories as well as share ways for participants to conduct oral history interviews. In addition, Joyner staff will give tips on how to properly preserve cherished family heirlooms and how to archive family mementos both physically and digitally.

This event is FREE and open to the public. Refreshments will be served!

I thoroughly enjoyed the exhibit, in particular the items related to ECU’s history. Many thanks to GMA and Joyner Library’s Special Collections for making this endeavor possible!
