Lend Me A Tenor

By Ken Ludwig

We’re backstage at the Cleveland Grand Opera Company awaiting the arrival of the world famous Italian tenor,Il Stupendo, to appear for one night only in Otello. The star arrives late and, through a hilarious series of mishaps, is given a double dose of tranquilizers and passes out.  In a frantic attempt to salvage the evening, the assistant manager is persuaded to get into costume and fool the audience into thinking he's Il Stupendo.  But when the real star rouses, we have two “Otellos” on stage.  This madcap, screwball comedy will leave you teary-eyed with laughter.
