Moderation and Mediation Analysis

Moderation and Mediation Analysis

Moderation analysis, also called interaction analysis, is used to explore the relationship between an independent variable (X), a moderator variable (W), and a dependent variable (Y). It examines whether the relationship between X and Y is influenced by the levels of W.

Mediation analysis is used to examine whether the relationship between X and Y is through a mediator variable (M). In this workshop, we will use the PROCESS program created by Dr. Andrew Hayes, and R to conduct moderation and mediation analyses.
