http://www.ecu.edu/lib/Learn the basic controls of Meshmixer, a free mesh repair software from Autodesk, so you can prepare your models for a successful print. We will cover how to check your models for gaps, holes and intersecting geometries, and discuss how to add your own support structures to overhangs which could save yourself time and money.
3D printing specialists in Joyner Library's Teaching Resources Center, will lead introductory workshops on 3D printing in Joyner Library room 1020. The times and dates are below.
These workshops will offer participants a hands-on opportunity to learn about and create objects using 3D printing technology. Participants will learn basic tools in Meshmixer (www.meshmixer.com), an intermediate level 3D modeling software.
While no prior experience is necessary, registrants should be comfortable experimenting with a sometimes quirky software. Each session is limited to 20 participants.
