Using evidence-based curriculum from the Center for the Improvement of Mentored Experiences in Research, we will discuss the competencies of Aligning Expectations and Addressing Equity and Inclusion. This interactive session will encourage participants to reflect on their mentoring practices and increase the intentionality of their mentoring approach. Mentors for summer research students are particularly encouraged to participate.
