About this Event
Your ability to stand on two feet means you can Standup Paddle Board (SUP)! The view from a wide, stable board is remarkably different; no wonder SUP is the fastest growing paddle sport.
If you don't want to SUP, you can chose to kayak instead.
See the turtles, fish, and what's over the river bank. If you get hot, jump right in the water or sit sideways and dip your legs in.
A Saturday Afternoon Float is perfect for relaxing after a long week, or wondering if you'll like SUP'ing. Just show up and go!
You'll paddle a short water trail within an hour of ECU. We may take you by the historic waterfront of Little Washington, paddle up the shady Cherry Run or ramble down the remarkably beautiful Tar.
You'll get about 2-3 hours of on water paddling.
Meet at 12 p.m. in the Rec Center Adventure Program and arrive back around 6-6:30 p.m.
Cost: $15 for students/members: $20 for non-members/guests
