Storm the Stadium 2021

ECU Student Veteran Services will host the 5^th annual Storm the Stadium on Saturday, February 27th at starting at 9am until 2pm in Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium.

Storm the Stadium is one of the longest stair climbing challenges in eastern North Carolina as competitors take on the 3,200 stairs in the lower bowl of ECU’s football stadium.  COVID-19 precautions will be taken to ensure the safety of participants.  Please see https://studentveterans.ecu.edu/storm-the-stadium/ for more information.

For those unable to attend in person, ECU Student Veteran Services has partnered with Run the East and is holding a virtual 5k through the app RaceJoy.  Run when you want and where you want!  All proceeds from Storm the Stadium go to support ECU Student Veteran Services scholarships and programs. As of Fall 2020, more than 860 student veterans and more than 1,600 student veterans and military dependents are proud ECU Pirates.

Registration for both the stadium climb and the virtual 5k are open via the ECU Student Veteran Services website.  Registration costs for both events are $25.
