THCAS Voyages of Discovery Lecture Series - Jarvis Lecture on Christianity and Culture

Dr. José Casanova, professor of sociology and head of the Berkley Center for Religion, Peace & World Affairs at Georgetown University, will discuss "Transformations in American Civil Religion and American Christianity."

 

The Jarvis Lecture is cosponsored by the Harriot College of Arts and Sciences Religious Studies Program and Jarvis Memorial United Methodist Church. The ECU Religious Studies Program selects the lecturers. The views of the lecturers do not necessarily reflect United Methodist theology or the beliefs of Jarvis Memorial United Methodist Church members.
