Valuing Inclusion Program (VIP) - Intersectionality: A Critical Look

The Valuing Inclusion Program (VIP) is a roundtable program providing educational opportunities for open dialogue of beliefs and values and developing skills to create an actively inclusive community at ECU. Its goals are to:

  • Create an opportunity for open dialogue to promote an inclusive and respectful working, living and learning environment.
  • Bring awareness to the experiences of people with intersecting marginalized identities.
  • Aid in developing skills to effect positive change and promote inclusiveness.

This semester, we have a two-part series on intersectionality. On 4/16, Dr. Rae Meads will facilitate an advanced-level conversation on intersectionality.
