Watchful Care: The History of Nurse Anesthesia

The Medical History Interest Group invites you to attend "Watchful Care: The History of Nurse Anesthesia" presented by Maura S. McAuliffe CRNA, PhD, FAAN, Professor and Program Director, College of Nursing.

Nurse anesthetists have been providing anesthesia care in the United States since at least the American Civil War. They are the oldest nurse specialty group in the United States and the primary anesthesia providers to the U.S. military.

All are welcome. Refreshments will be provided.
