Faculty and core support laboratories specially designed and equipped for research in modern molecular biology and genetics are housed in the Biotechnology Center adjacent to the Brody Medical Sciences Building.

The Pediatric Outpatient Center comprises the ground floor of the biotechnology building and accommodates the school’s many specialty and general health clinics for infants, children, and adolescents. It also houses the ECU Department of Radiation Oncology, the Section of Hematology/Oncology, and surgical oncology services.
