Registration now open!

Registration is now open for the 19th Annual Paraprofessional Conference, hosted by the SHRA Assembly of ECU's Academic Library Services. The Conference will be held on Friday, May 12 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please join us this year as we explore the theme of motivation and teamwork. This year's conference will be a hybrid event, with session offered both in-person and virtually.

In-Person Attendance

The in-person event will occur in a similar fashion to the way the conference was hosted before the pandemic. Attendees will travel to Greenville, N.C., and enjoy breakfast, lunch, snacks, and interacting with your fellow paraprofessionals at Joyner Library on the East Carolina University Campus. As with past years there is a charge to attend the in-person event, but discounts are available.

Although the main audience of the conference is library paraprofessionals, it is open to any person who registers for the event. Many of the presentations would be of interest to anyone who works in a paraprofessional capacity.

The conference continues to be successful each year due to the generous staff and faculty of the library who volunteer and make the event both informative and motivational. The conference planning committee looks forward to seeing everyone virtually in May!

Virtual Registration (Free)

In-Person Registration ($30 charge, discounts are available)
