Presenter Dr. Jennifer McKinnon is the director of the ECU^® maritime studies program. Her research includes Spanish colonial archaeology, archaeology and history of the U.S. Life-Saving Service, conflict archaeology of WWII in the Pacific, and landscape and seascape archaeology. McKinnon’s past experiences include as a senior lecturer in maritime archeology at Flinders University in South Australia.
