The Laupus Health Sciences Library Diversity Committee invites you to attend “Community Care: When Self-Care is not Enough,” a webinar panel discussion.
We all know how important self-care is for our health and wellbeing. But what happens when we put so much emphasis on the individual to practice self-care? Sometimes it can seem like an additional burden. In this presentation find out what community care is, how it can make us more resilient individuals, and how this concept can also assist us to support each other.
Panelists from ECU Health, the ECU Family Therapy Clinic, and the Department of Health Education and Promotion will discuss how ECU is promoting community care, and what research and measures have been taken to implement community care around ECU and beyond.
