HR Boot Camp for: all business owners and entrepreneurs seeking to learn more about establishing strong HR practices to lead the organization; Supervisors of the HR function in an organization that may have limited or no experience in Human Resource Functions; and Entry level, or junior HR leaders seeking to build skill to assist them in building an HR team or department.

Learning Objectives 

At the Conclusion of the session, participants will:

  • - Explore the case for HR as a business owner/entreprenuer, senior level function, building confidence in explaining the case to senior leaders, share holders and board members.
  • - Define personal communication styles which will empower them to lead self, team and organization more effectively using solid communication principles, a foundation for all successful organizations.
  • - Review Strategic planning principles and tie HR functions and practices to their own business plans
  • - Develop SMART goals related to HR functions tied to Strategy and Corporate level Goals
  • - Explore a variety of tools and practices to attract, identify, interview and select the right employees from diverse candidate pools to fill needs
  • - Prioritize actions to implement effective HR systems and processes
  • - Identify and explore resources to assist in the HR function, both internal and external to the organization
