Understanding data structures is very important in research. It aids not only in data analysis, but also in survey design. This workshop helps you understand basic concepts about data. It focuses on how to create a dataset, data layout or structure, variables in the data, variable types, variable coding, and measurement types. SPSS will be used for the demonstration.
