I very much appreciated the honest discussion from Toya and Dr. Lynnsay, I did not however like that in this discussion of asking white women to take the same risks as other people of color, one audience member noted that she was only starting to do anti-racism training and becoming an ally now that she was retiring, and therefore has nothing to lose. She had spent a lot of time raising her status as a professor previously, that she didn't want to take risks before. I am thankful that others spoke up about this and shared that they were angry about some comments during the discussion.
