Diversity & Inclusion Week - From Reconstruction to Reparations: Race, Inequality and Social Movements

This workshop will attempt to link the past to the present moment, specifically highlighting the parallels between the Reconstruction era and the present day to argue there is a need for deep, transformational structural changes in the United States to make racial equity a reality. Dr. Crystal Eddins will also propose ways people can educate themselves about the histories of race, inequality, and opportunities for solidarity with existing social movements.
