To learn more about Black, Indigenous and People of Color students’ experiences with overt and covert racism on ECU’s campus, Professors Tamra Church and Kristin Black met with over 7 HHP students over the course of 5 sessions during the Spring of 2021.  The students formulated questions and took photos that captured ECU students’ lived experiences with racism on campus.  This exhibit is a collection of these students’ photos and direct quotes from conversations.  Ultimately, the hope is that this project ignites conversation and contributes to ECU’s goal of cultivating an anti-racism culture on campus.
