You are invited to the Friends of Joyner Library Annual Meeting & Reception!

Margaret Bauer, the Rives Chair of Southern Literature in the Department of English, a Distinguished Professor at Harriot College of Arts and Sciences, and the editor of the North Carolina Literary Review, will speak on "Paul Green: More than The Lost Colony".

While best known for his work on The Lost Colony, Green's legacy extends far beyond that iconic play. He was a prolific writer, creating plays, screenplays, and novels. Additionally, Green was a passionate advocate for human rights, racial equity, prison reform, and the abolition of the death penalty.
