The Topic:  Responding to global health crises requires the coordination of governments, organizations and communities to be successful.  The world faces numerous health challenges (some new, others persistent), including the potential for deadly pandemics and rising costs of chronic disease. Balancing the competing interests within and across countries and cultures poses a major challenge internationally.
