Lean 100: Green and Sustainable Manufacturing

This course blends traditional classroom lectures with hands-on activities to provide an overview of Lean concepts.  After completing this course, the participant will have a basic understanding of how to apply Lean concepts in various environments and facilities.

Concepts Explored:

  • 8 Wastes
  • 5 Why’s
  • Pareto Analysis
  • Value-Adding versus Non-Value-Adding activities
  • 5S
  • Standard Work
  • Value Stream Mapping
  • Overall Equipment Effectiveness
  • Spaghetti Diagrams
  • Kaizen

Lunch will be provided.
