Lifelong Learning Program - Cape Lookout and Core Sound Waterfowl Museum and Heritage Center

Join us for a fun-filled day on the coast. For this trip, we will visit the Core Sound Waterfowl Museum and Heritage Center where we will tour the facilities, hear from carvers, learn about some of the local history or learn more about sea-level rise and hurricanes. We will also take a short 20-minute pontoon-type ferry ride over to Cape Lookout to see the lighthouse learn about its history and get some sand on your toes if you would like. If we're lucky we might even catch a glimpse of the ponies on Shackleford Banks or some dolphin on the way.

Registration Information:
Registration opens in-person at our Fall Kickoff event on August 12th from 1pm - 4pm in the ECU Willis Building. It opens online on August 13th, and by phone on August 15th.

Registration deadline: October 21, 2022

Cost:Early Member Fee - $60
Regular Member Fee - $80
Early Non-Member Fee - $80.
