The Dr. Jesse R. Peel LGBTQ Center hosts the annual campus celebration of National Coming Out Day on Wednesday, Oct. 5, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the cupola on the campus mall. The event honors the 1987 March on Washington when more than 500,000 people gathered in support of LGBTQ equality. 

Free t-shirts will be distributed on the mall and we encourage everyone to be a part of the annual Human Rainbow photo at 4 p.m. in front of the ECU letters at the Main Campus Student Center.

In celebration of National Coming Out Day, celebrated annually on Oct. 11, 2022 (ECU's celebration will be held early due to Fall Break).
