DESCRIPTION:The Dr. Jesse R. Peel LGBTQ Center hosts the annual campus cele
 bration of National Coming Out Day on Wednesday\, Oct. 5\, from 10 a.m. to
  2 p.m. at the cupola on the campus mall. The event honors the 1987 March 
 on Washington when more than 500\,000 people gathered in support of LGBTQ 
 equality. \n\nFree t-shirts will be distributed on the mall and we encoura
 ge everyone to be a part of the annual Human Rainbow photo at 4 p.m. in fr
 ont of the ECU letters at the Main Campus Student Center.\n\nIn celebratio
 n of National Coming Out Day\, celebrated annually on Oct. 11\, 2022 (ECU'
 s celebration will be held early due to Fall Break).
