ECU College of Education and the Office of Continuing Professional Education provide monthly opportunities to rack up on Continuing Education Units for Literacy with 7 different online modules, each worth 1.0 CEU!

The following seven (7) online modules are offered:

• Vocabulary: Not just for Language Arts Teachers
• The Struggle is REAL: Strategies to Support Students’ Reading Difficulties
• Reading with a Pencil: Purposeful Annotation
• Fluency: It’s Not Just About Pace!
• WORD UP: Enhancing Vocabulary Instruction
• **NEW** What’s on Your Shelf?: Tools for Defining, Choosing, Evaluating, and Teaching Diverse Books
• **NEW** Beyond the Bookshelf: I Have Diverse Books, Now What?

Each module starts on the 6^th of each month and ends on the last day of the month.

Each module registration deadline is the last day of the month for the following month.

Individuals should have the ability to send and receive email with and without attachments, use a word processing program such as Microsoft Word, access to a strong and stable internet connection, and the ability to view video clips from YouTube and other streaming websites.  

Each module is $75.
