About this Event
This session will provide participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to become active listeners in their path to becoming supervisors. Participants will understand the elements of nonverbal communication (posture, appearance, gestures, eye contact and facial expressions) and its effects on colleagues and employees; the skills necessary to provide praise and to build employee confidence when appropriate; combatting communication anxiety; giving and receiving feedback; and servant leadership.
Please note: This training is a part of the POSO Pirate Readiness Enhancement Program pathway but can be taken as an individual training too.
