R Introduction

During this short course you will learn the basics of R and RStudio software. R is a versatile, free software program that can assist researchers in both descriptive and inferential statistics. During the first part of the short course, we will cover the interface of R and RStudio and the basics of importing data and how to work with data in R. During the second half of the course, we will move into how to manage data (i.e., data cleaning) and simple analytic tests in R (i.e. t-tests, ANOVAs, simple regression). I will leave you with recommended resources on how to further your knowledge of R and a few of the capabilities of R.
