Research and Creative Achievement Week (RCAW) runs from April 6–10, 2026 and will be in its 20th year. It is the premiere and largest presentation event at East Carolina University. RCAW showcases the discoveries and talents of undergraduates, professionals in training (graduate students / medical students), and postdoctoral scholars (fellows, medical residents). We are delighted to have them present their research and creative projects to fellow students, colleagues, faculty, and community partners in a professional, conference-style setting. In addition to presenting, RCAW provides all student scholars an excellent opportunity to refine their communication skills and develop lasting connections with like-minded creative scholars and community stakeholders.

Students, to submit an abstract for presentation, please use the form on the RCAW webpage. Abstracts are accepted through February 15th at 11:59PM. There is no cost for attending or presenting at RCAW. Attendee check-in for each activity at RCAW will be carried out each day from April 6 - April 9 (if applicable).
