About this Event
This two-day online training provides a comprehensive introduction to the strategic approach towards Energy Management Systems (EnMS) based on the ISO 50001 standard. Participants will gain practical knowledge of how to design, implement, and audit an effective EnMS to improve energy performance and support organizational decarbonization goals.
Through a combination of lectures, real-world examples, and interactive exercises, the course covers:
-The fundamentals and benefits of Energy Management Systems
-Key ISO terminology and structure (“ISO speak”)
-Practical steps for implementing ISO 50001 in organizations
-Internal auditing techniques and best practices
By the end of the course, participants will understand the full EnMS lifecycle—from planning and implementation to performance evaluation and continual improvement—and will be prepared to contribute to their organization’s energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
A certificate of completion will be awarded upon completion.
