#SustainableEnergy #TrainingThe Center for Sustainable Energy and Environmental Engineering at ECU, in collaboration with Pitt County Economic Development and the Greenville Eastern North Carolina Alliance, is honored to be offering this in-person technical course.
This one-day, hands-on training is designed for EHS and other professionals seeking to deepen their understanding of ISO 14001:2015 requirements and its role in advancing sustainability and environmental footprint within manufacturing operations. The session offers a comprehensive review of the standard’s structure, intent, and applicability, with a strong focus on practical implementation. Participants will explore how to systematically identify and evaluate the environmental aspects of their operations and understand their impacts on the environment. Through interactive discussions, real-world case situations, and engaging group activities, participants will explore how to align environmental management systems with organizational goals such as UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Instructor: Ms. Sandra Enciso, Senior Energy and Sustainability Project Manager at the Georgia Manufacturing Extension Partnership (GaMEP), Georgia Tech.
Registration includes light breakfast, lunch, parking, and a certificate of completion. Attendees may self-report professional development hours to the Board of Professional Engineers in NC.
