Join the Dr. Jesse R. Peel LGBTQ Center and the Women and Gender Office on Thursday, Nov. 17, for an event to remember and honor transgender people around the world whose lives have been lost to anti-transgender violence. 

Presented in honor of Trans Day of Remembrance, recognized annually on Nov 20. East Carolina will host two ceremonies: 

-Thursday, Nov. 17, at 5:30 p.m. in the Green Room at the Croatan, co-sponsored by the Dr. Jesse R. Peel LGBTQ Center and the Women and Gender Office

-Thursday, Nov. 17, at noon in the Grand Room of the Health Sciences Campus Student Center, co-sponsored by the Dr. Jesse R. Peel LGBTQ Center, the Brody Sexual and Gender Diversity Organization, and the Health Sciences Sexual and Gender Diversity Committee.
