He obtained his master’s and doctorate degrees in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech, USA, master’s degree in electrical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology-Madras, India, and bachelor’s degree in electronics and communication engineering from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, India.
